The Wine Room
The customer wanted to expose the existing natural beauty of the concrete slab. The hit and miss nature of the exposure was complementary of the furniture and décor select to achieve the desired look.
Alfresco Entertaining
This Boral concrete slab product was purposely laid to be polished. To achieve a desired effect, you will need to discuss these options with your concretor. The overall look will depend upon the type of concrete and hardness (MPA) of the slab and aggregate density. Exposed exterior surfaces can have a non slip additive added to the final application.
The Shed Retreat
The old traditional concrete slab was honed and sealed to produce a new, modern and easy to maintain natural look surface. The process allows for the concretes original slab to be exposed which revitalisers it from it tired state and creates a new and unique floor surface for any Man cave, patio, bedroom or office space... if there is concrete, then there is opportunity.
Mechanically Polished
Recommended for inside areas that are not exposed to weather.
This is a high end fully exposed polished concrete finish. This process does not require a coating to maintain the gloss and reflectivity on the concrete.
Sealers prevent staining of the product and assist with cleaning.
